We absolutely loved this restaurant! I couldn't recommend it enough. From the decor, the food (like grandma's cooking), the gift shop, the amazing sweet tea..to the waitress and staff. Everyone was so friendly. So many food options on the buffet. We plan on returning soon! My advice... make sure you come hungry. Also... the price was amazing. With 2 adult buffet and 2 drinks it was under $39 credit card price. U ser $38 cash price.

1 of our favorite spots. A bit cruel: You get so full, hardly room for dessert. Incredible fried chicken & pie. Quite possibly, the best tabouli I've ever had. Nice salad bar. Gift shop is fun. You can stroll around it a bit to make room fer pie.

Step back about 40 years into a Kukendutch or Cocos, mix in a bit of Cracker barrel and smidge of Hobby Lobby. Staff was genuinely welcoming. Food was filling and hot. Will definitely stop by next time we drive through.

WOW WOW WOW!! This was such a sweet homey place. The atmosphere has Branson Vibes with way better, and more authentic food. The dishes are generations old and still have such down home country taste. We will be making the 45 min. Drive to have dinner here again. Props to the owners they have amazing staff that really cares about the reputation of your family restaurant. Great job!!

Second time here, first time on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. The wait staff was incredibly sweet, restaurant very clean, the food was extremely fresh and next to my late mother's fried chicken it was the best fried chicken I have ever eaten hands down and I have never given that compliment! Not a huge assortment but a decent assortment of home-cooked sides. Green beans, sweet potatoes, chicken and dumplings, pinto beans which were incredible, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried potatoes with onions and bell peppers, cobblers, puddings, delicious coconut cream pie, And some kind of coconut oatmeal crusted topped pecan pie filling pie not sure how to describe it but it was incredible....... It was a very nice pleasant afternoon.

We had the most wonderful experience here. It felt like stepping into a truly authentic, homegrown version of a Cracker Barrel — warm, welcoming, and genuinely special. Our waiter, Jas, was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to walk us through the menu with such patience and care, especially when we got delightfully muddled over the dessert options. Nothing was too much trouble, and his knowledge and kindness made the whole visit even more enjoyable. He’s a real credit to Country Cottage. I’m visiting from England and came with my girlfriend who lives locally, and we will most definitely be back. I’ll be telling everyone back home about this lovely spot. Thank you, Jas, and thank you, Country Cottage, for such a memorable visit.

We arrived about 2:30 and were seated right away. This buffet exceeds all expectations. It has everything you could ever want. From salad to fried chicken and chicken and dumplings, to Mexican to mac and cheese and at least 12 different dessert options! These cinnamon rolls are the softest I have ever had in my entire life! The servers were all phenomenal and so kind and offered smiles all the time! This restaurant is cozy and comfortable! Easy to find and so cute. The little shop has the cutest things for sale! I will be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If comfort food had a Hall of Fame, Country Cottage Restaurant in Oklahoma would be wearing a gold jacket, holding a trophy, and waving to the crowd. This place is the definition of old school country cooking done RIGHT. We stopped here while driving from Springfield Missouri to Dallas Texas, and let me tell you something… about two and a half hours into the drive, this is THE perfect place to pull off the road, stretch your legs, and let your soul eat. This isn’t just a meal. This is an experience. First of all, it is a classic country buffet, the kind that brings back memories you didn’t even know you had. The smells alone should be illegal. Every single dish is firing on all cylinders like a well tuned V8. Let’s talk about the food, because WOW. The chicken fried steak is tender, crispy, and drowning in love and gravy. The fried bone in chicken is exactly what fried chicken is supposed to be. Juicy, crunchy, seasoned perfectly. And my personal favorite… the chicken and dumplings. These dumplings are soft, hearty, and feel like someone’s grandma stood over the pot and said a prayer before serving it. They have beans, a fresh salad bar, sauteed vegetables, corn, fried okra, and just when you think they couldn’t possibly have more… BOOM. A pork loin carving station, sliced fresh and juicy right in front of you. Oh and do not overlook the Frito chili pie. That’s pure country comfort right there. Desserts? Honey… they have about ten different desserts, and choosing just one should be considered emotional abuse. Pies, cakes, cobblers… it’s dangerous territory if you believe in self control. Now listen closely. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE STRAWBERRY LEMONADE. That drink is refreshing, sweet, and absolutely clutch. On top of all that, they’ve got games, and they were actually good too. It adds to the whole family friendly, sit back and enjoy yourself vibe. This place is busy for a reason, so pro tip… come at earlier off times if you can. Trust me. This secret is already out. Country Cottage isn’t trying to be trendy. It’s not trying to reinvent anything. It just shows up every day and absolutely crushes classic country food. If you’re driving through Oklahoma, or even thinking about it, make the stop. Your stomach will thank you. Your soul will thank you. And you might end up planning your next road trip around this place. Thank you so much for listening to my review, and definitely visit Country Cottage Restaurant in Oklahoma. This place is FABULOUS
